The case with brass handle to the inverted bell top, glazed arch side panels, later quarter frets to the front door, the 6 in. wide brass dial with female head and foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, the matted centre with date square, mock pendulum aperture and applied silvered plaque signed FRA. GREGG/AT ST JAMES'S, silvered subsidiary ring for pendulum regulation to the arch, cut blued steel hands, the movement with five ring-turned pillars, single chain fusee, restored pivoted verge escapement and restored pull quarter repeat on two replaced bells, scrolling foliate engraving to the back plate signed FRA.
