The exterior with a bird perched on rockwork and with meandering flowering branches, beneath a panelled and lappet border with scrolls and flowers on a stepped domed foot with bands of meandering branches and insects and panelled blue and white flowers and scrolls counter- changed, the interior with the inscription Drink Fair/Dont Swear/1724 surrounded by flourishes and cross-within-diamond ornament, one side of the bowl extensively damaged and repaired with two filled in areas and filled in rivet holes, some chipping and flaking to rims
