The Experienc'd Fowler: or, The Gentleman, Citizen, and Country-man's Pleasant and Profitable Recreation. London: Jo. Sprint and G. Conyers, 1697. Small 12°, 3 woodcuts, one full-page (lacks frontispiece, title torn and repaired with loss to one letter and slight affect on two others, restoration to final leaf affecting a few letters), full calf gilt by W. Pratt, gilt edges (spine rubbed at head). Provenance: Thomas Westwood (bookplate) -- C.F.G.R. Schwerdt (bookplate).

FIRST EDITION. "A rare and quaint little book", states Schwerdt. "It contains a large number of useful hints on bird-catching". ESTC records 4 copies, of which only the BL copy is in the UK.
