The arched bombé cartonnier surmounted by a cloudbourne torch-bearing putto and cockerel, above a clock with white-enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and signed BRINDEAU/A PARIS, above eight gilt-tooled green leather fronted drawers with scroll handles, the sides and back with floral marquetry panels with berried-acanthus frames, atop a shaped-square similarly inlaid top and serpentine frieze, fronted by a fall-front frieze drawer fitted with a leather-covered writing surface and two interior drawers, on cabriole legs headed by pierced-acanthus clasps running to rocaille sabots
