MAINLY ROMAN TO EARLY CHRISTIAN PERIOD, CIRCA 1ST-4TH CENTURY A.D. AND LATER
Including two Roman gold rings, one inscribed with "KYPIA (Lady)" across the shoulders and raised circular bezel, 3rd Century A.D.; the other ring with palm branch on flattened lentoid-shaped bezel, 1st-3rd Century A.D.; a silver ring, similar, with palm branch; two bronze rings, all Roman to Byzantine period; another bronze ring, 16th Century A.D.; a Roman pale green glass bowl fragment, with wheel-cut linear and abraded decoration, part showing a dancing maenad with fillet hanging over right arm and holding a thyrsus in the other, first half of 4th Century A.D., 3 in. (7.6 cm.) across max.; four other fragmentary Roman glass shards, including a gold 'sandwich' glass fragment; two Roman intaglios, one cornelian with fish and inscription "VAL MODES", fragmentary; the other green and red jasper, with inscription "EIPHNH (Peace)" and ear of corn below; two Roman magical gems, cornelian and dark green speckled jasper, each with Greek inscription, 2nd-3rd Century A.D.; a fragmentary late Roman cornelian cameo with fish (red mullet), circa 4th Century A.D.; a Roman wood fish token inscribed 'IX', pierced at tail, circa 1st- 2nd Century A.D., 2¼ in. (5.6 cm.) long; a Greek inscribed stone tablet; and a Roman yellow glass pendant with stamped design, a central tree with two seated lions(?), circa 350-450 A.D.(a lot)
