A HELLENISTIC GOLD ROSETTE PIN
LATE 4TH/EARLY 3RD CENTURY B.C.
The rosette in the form of eight petals each with spiral beaded wire borders; and a pair of Hellenistic gold bird earrings, each twisted wire hoop terminating in a dove, with applied beaded wire wings and feet, traces of enamel in eyes and tail feathers, late 4th/early 3rd Century B.C.
1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) and ¾ in. (2 cm.) high respectively (3)
