Persian manuscript on gold-sprinkled paper, with three diagonal rectangular panels, each containing 2ll. of fine black nasta'liq flanked by triangular panels of gold and polychrome floral scrolls, one containing the signature Muhammad Zaman al-Tabrizi, to the left and below panels of nasta'liq all with gold interlinear and intercolumnar rules, above and below two laid down panels of nasta'liq on blue paper, the borders blue, the central band outlined in gold with panels of nasta'liq on white ground, attribution to 'Imad al-Hassani below one such panel, laid down on buff card with gold and red outer rules, small areas of smudging and wear

Muhammad Zaman, originally from Kirman, is recorded as being a scribe of manuscripts and calligraphic pages. He died in AH 994/1585-86 AD. Two other undated pages by him are recorded (Mehdi Bayani, Ahval va Asar-e Khosh-Nevisan, Vol. III, Tehran, 1348 sh, p. 740).
