A CORAL AND TURQUOISE INLAID OTTOMAN DAGGER, TURKEY, 18TH CENTURY
The polished steel blade of straight form with central groove and incised lines either side, damascened with makers name and date 1128AH/1715AD, the hilt of typical form set with coral and turquoise stones, the scabbard with fish-scale design to centre and reverse, similarly set with coral and turquoise and terminating in a dragon head - 21in (53.2cm)
