Of tapering cylindrical form, the cover surmounted by a pineapple finial, the beaded rim above a pierced guilloche band, painted with a maiden either carrying a basket of flowers or reading on a bench, within a chased gilt band and further white 'jewels' and gilt foliate scrollwork, the reverse with a bouquet of flowers and fruit, flanked by upright bracket handles suspending oak-leaf swags, on a conforming socle and canted square base cast with a key-pattern band
