A fine silver parcel-gilt torah pointer (Yad)
Apparently unmarked, probably the Netherlands or Germany, 18th Century
The tapering cylindrical plain stem decorated with gilded palmettes, acanthus leaves and gadrooned knob in the center, the top with fineley moulded and chased gilded lion head finial fitted with a drop-ring, the other end of the pointer terminating in a cuffed hand with bent pointing index finger
