Maker's mark of Pogorzelski (firm operating untill circa 1910), Warsaw, 1895
Hallmark: 1.)Warsaw assayer's office mark, the double-headed eagle, assayer's initials O.C., the year 1895 and silver mark 84;
2.) Pogorzelski, silversmith's compagny name, in a rectangular field; 3.) the workshop mark, elk's head in an oval field
Set on four pierced grapevine supports, the circular domed base chased with a border of vinefoliage and grapes, the bulbous baluster stem chased with flowerheads, vinefoliage and grapes, fitted with a movable, detachable upper section, eight grapevine branches, each with a petal-shaped candlesocket, complete with a matching servant-light and an oil jug, the whole surmounted by a ball and spread eagle finial, marked on base and on all detachable parts
