A pair of Russian silver Shabbat candlesticks
Maker's name in cyrillic characters indistinct, Kiev, circa 1900, also struck with the standard silver mark 84 combined with the woman's head (kokoshnik) for Kiev region used from 1896 untill 1908 (assayer's touch mark)
Each set on three pierced grapevine supports, domed circular base, decorated with grapevines, the bulbous and part fluted stem chased with flowerheads, surmounted by a petal-shaped candlesocket
