CIRCA 1715-20, THE DECORATION ALMOST CONTEMPORARY
Painted in Schwarzlot and enriched in gilding by Ignaz Preissler with a hippocamp below a border of scrolls to the interior, with a branch handle, issuing flowerheads to the underside, the exterior underside painted with birds and animals perched on interlocking strapwork and acanthus scrolls, slight chipping to rim, slight wear to base and minor wear to gilding
