Lot Essay

Rolf Sonnemann and Eberhard Wächtler et al, Böttger Leipzig, 1982, pl. 193, this form of beaker predominately in the white with stiff leaves picked out in gilding. This elegant and early design in Böttger porcelain can be seen replicated on a vase in the white in the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, illustrated in Porzellan Sammlung in Zwinger Dresden, 1986, p. 61.
