CIRCA 1782 AND CIRCA 1820, THE FIRST WITH BLUE SCEPTRE MARK, THE SECOND WITH BLUE SCEPTRE MARK FLANKED BY BROWN DOTS ORANGE DASH MARK
The first from a table service made for Frederick the Great, the centre painted in puce camaïeu with a bouquet of flowers within a flower garland border suspended from a band of gilt diaper decoration (broken across and with section of rim broken and repaired and with associated chipping, restored chip to rim); the second a replacement for Frederick the Great's table service for Schloss Charlottenburg, the centre painted with pink roses beside an upturned basket of flowers within a border of blue flower-sprays suspended from gilt scrolls and feuilles-de-choux, gilt line rim (slight wear)
