The balloon-shaped case with brass handle to the top, silk-backed brass fishscale sound frets to the sides, with glazed rear door, the white painted Roman dial withblued steel hands and signed 'HENNING/LYMINGTON', the five pillar eight day movement with twin gut fusees, anchor escapement and strike on bell, with pendulum holdfast to the back plate; pendulum, winding key; with rectangular tapering bracket, the lower part replaced
The clock: 17¾ in. (45 cm.) high; 13½ in. (34 cm.) wide; 8½ in. (21.5 cm.) deep; the bracket: 8 in. (20 cm.) high; 10¼ in. (26 cm.) wide; 8¾ in. (22.5 cm.) deep
