AN UNUSUAL GEORGE II CARVED MAHOGANY STICK BAROMETER
MID-18TH CENTURY, AND LATER
With acanthus-carved half-ball finial above waisted pediment with leaf-carved border on a stippled ground, fluted cornice above angled white enamel register plates (probably re-instated, with later paper scales below), with fluted column made from a newel post, above stepped terminal; mercury removed
