A jewelled silver cigarette-case
Cyrillic mark of unknown maker FC, St. Petersburg, 1896-1908
Shaped rectangular, with extended corners to the hinged back, the cover repoussé, chased and engraved with a leaf and stems, the tip of one set with a cabochon amethyst, and with a Russian inscription, with cabochon ruby push-piece, gilt interior, marked inside cover and base
4 1/8 in. (10.3 cm.) long
The Russian inscription translates as:
'Prize for the owner of the best pointer 1907'.
