The oval plaque is carved in openwork with a bird in flight, descending toward a pond below which a further pair of birds are foraging amidst tall stems of lotus and other vegetation, enclosed in a silver mount, finely chased with four floral blooms evenly divided by leafy scrolls, the reverse side fitted with a metal circular loop attached to a loose ring
