Large gilt-finished chain fusée movement with verge escapement, decorative square shaped pillars, the large cock surmounted by a painted enamel plaque depicting a partially dressed maiden, a heart shape indicator acting as the mock pendulum connected to the balance wheel, pierced and engraved foot, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic divisions, blued steel beetle and poker hands, inner case with glazed back revealing the enamel portrait and mock pendulum, with outer repoussé decorative case, five piece hinge, movement signed and numbered
