The first with brass two-stage barrel with belled moulded muzzle and inscribed 'London', stepped lock with roller, walnut full stock, and engraved brass mounts including trigger-guard with pineapple finial, London proof marks (bayonet removed, the lock worn, signature rubbed, safety-catch chipped, fore-end cracked); the second with turn-off barrel, signed border-engraved box-lock action, blued folding trigger, thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel, and walnut butt with County Wicklow registration marks, London proof marks
