Rectangular box, the cover sides and base with chased repoussé stylized flowers and scrolling foliage set against a stippled ground, the cover centred with a lion eating an antelope, flanked by hounds and a hunter in a turban, wielding a pistol, the base identically engraved, the side border of the lid chased with diagonal lines, raised incorporated thumbpiece
