Wherein is contayned the disposition and true declaration of the Phisike helpes of all sortes of herbes and Plants ... not onely of those which are here in this our Countrey of England growing, but of all others also of other Realmes, Countreyes and Nations vied in Phisike ... now collected and abridged by William Ram, Gent, translated by Henry Lyte. London: Simon Stafford, 1606. Small 4° bound in 8s. Initials, head-pieces (wormtracks to upper forecorner of some leaves with occasional loss of letters, some dampstaining to a few leaves, mainly at lower forecorner). Contemporary vellum, spine titled in manuscript (bowed, lacking ties). Provenance: Charles Crofte (old signature and Latin inscription on front free endpaper). RARE. STC 6988. Not recorded in Nissen.
