A silver yachting trophy in the form of a cruet set for the New York Yacht Club
MARK OF TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK, 1860
won by the yacht Mansering, and comprising a pair of glass bottles with glass stoppers for oil & vinegar, a pair of silver-mounted glass bottles as salt & pepper shakers, a silver-mounted mustard pot; on a circular stand with entwined rope frame, the central standard formed as a mast with climbing sailor, the stand engraved "First Prize 2nd Class/won by Sloop Manersing/N.Y. Yacht Club Regatta/June 7th 1860", marked under base, also stamped Tiffany & Co. 550 Broadway English Sterling.
12 in. (30.5 cm.) height; 33 oz. weighable silver. (8)
