MIDDLE WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 10TH CENTURY BC
The socket well cast on the two broad sides with a long-tailed bird with long trailing crest feathers reserved on a leiwen-ground panel, one of the narrow sides with a panel of an elongated cicada, and the other narrow side with a rectangular opening, with a flat plate at the widest end from which extends a slightly flared flange cast with another long-tailed bird on a leiwen ground, with mottled milky green patina
