All flat and carved on both sides, including an upright bird with hooked beak, backswept crest above ears, rounded breast, wings with hooked flanged edge, clawed foot and a pendent tail tapering to a beveled edge; a recumbent long-necked bird with head turned around so that the long beak rests on the back, with scalloped feathers on the neck, scrolls on the body and striations on the short bifurcated tail feathers; and a crouching tiger with details of the head and scrolls on the body carved in slight thread relief
