YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The upright sides sharply angled above the tapering ring foot and flaring towards the rim, the exterior painted above a double bow-string band with an underglaze blue rock surrounded by begonias, asters and millet on one side and another begonia plant flanked by butterflies and moths on the other side, with a band of peony scroll below, the reign mark in the center of the interior below a double line border at the rim
6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) diam.
