Each thinly potted and of bell shape, the sides delicately painted in underglaze blue on one side with a vignette representing one of the twelve months, with nine months represented and one month duplicated (tree peony), the reverse painted with a poetic inscription followed by a seal reading shang (reward), each with a Kangxi mark on the base

Provenance
Acquired by the grandfather of the present owners, Whampoa, Guangdong, circa 1890 - 1920s, thence by descent within the family.
