A CARVED LONGQUAN CELADON SHALLOW DISH
EARLY MING DYNASTY, HONGWU PERIOD (1368-1398)
Thickly potted with shallow sides, the interior carved wtih a central floral spray within a triple-line border encircled by six further floral sprays within shaped roundels, below a band of key fret on the everted rim, covered overall with a glaze of sea-green tone except for an unglazed ring encircling the center of the convex base which burnt orange in the firing
