CIRCA 4TH-6TH CENTURY A.D.
In loop woven wool, 7½ in. (19 cm.) high; and a group of 13 Coptic textile tunic fragments including a red ground clavus fragment with fish and cross; another monochrome clavus fragment and decorative square with stylized figures and animals; another border fragment, polychrome, with baskets of fruit; another with central portrait bust, all 4th-8th Century A.D., 16 in. (41 cm.) long max. (14)
