Sold with a photo-certificate from Mr. Ralph Jentsch, dated Rome/New York, March 5, 2009.
This work will be included in the George Grosz catalogue raisonné of works on paper being prepared by Mr. Ralph Jentsch.
The Berlin street scenes by Grosz, executed in the years 1925 to 1932, the year before he left Germany, belong to the most important component in the artist's oeuvre of these years.
