A GREYISH CELADON AND BLACK JADE MODEL OF AN ELEPHANT, 18TH CENTURY
of flattened form, the animal standing four-square with a long tasselled fabric over its back, decorated with a ying-yang roundel to the centre, its trunk to the right -- 3¼in. (8.2cm.) wide, fitted wood stand.
Provenance
From an English private collection, acquired prior to 1985.
