comprising a pale celadon jade model of a Buddhistic lion with its young, wood stand; a celadon and russet jade carving of a qilin with a book amongst clouds, wood stand; a greyish celadon jade model of a recumbent tree shrew, wood stand; and a white jade carving of boys playing a drum, wood stand -- the first, 2¼in. (5.7cm.) wide. (4)

From an English private collection acquired in China during the 1940's.
