EARLY 18TH CENTURY
The centre painted with four exotic animals grazing before hills, within a broad border of lappets enclosing foliate scrolls and flowerheads, the rim with a blue-ground border reserved with pairs of putti perched on foliate scrolls, the footrim pierced for suspension (restored section to rim, two hairline cracks and restored glaze flake, chipping to footrim)
20 1/8 in. (51.1 cm.) diam.
