MARK OF NICOLAS-MARTIN LANGLOIS, PARIS, 1775 AND 1777, THE KNIVES PARIS, 1775 AND 1777, MAKER'S MARK JEC, SOME MARKS INDISTINCT
Each with reeded handle and husk and shell terminal, later engraved with a coat-of-arms, comprising:
Twenty-four dessert-spoons
Twenty-four dessert-forks
Twenty-four fruit-knives
Together with:
Two cast foliage and berry sifting-spoons, Paris, 1772 and 1774, maker's mark indistinct
And a pair of sugar-tongs with engraved foliage and a crest, Paris, 1777, maker's mark indistinct
100 oz. (3,109 gr.) weighable silver
The arms are those of Cuthbert impaling Smith. (75)
