AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS
CIRCA MID 2ND-EARLY 1ST CENTURY B.C.
Cobalt blue in color, the ovoid body with rounded shoulders, a long cylindrical neck, and inward-sloping disk rim, with applied opaque yellow and white marvered threads wound spirally and tooled into a festoon pattern in the middle of the body, with applied twin transparent blue vertical handles and a base-knob
