Cast with a lion attacking a bull, naturalistically depicted in high relief, open and hollow on the reverse, the bull with its forelegs bent acutely, its head pulled back revealing the thick ridged dewlap, curling wisps between the upturned horns, the left hind leg bent under, the right hind leg extended back supporting the hind leg of the muscular lion, grasping the bull's flank with its right forepaw, biting the bull's shoulder, its full mane rippling up from the downturned head, perforated for attachment through the bull's neck and left hind leg, and between the animal's heads
