4° (325 x 269mm) text volume and large 2° atlas (694 x 543mm). 13 large lithographic plates (plate of 'Evangelische Kirche zu Freiburg' in duplicate) and 1 smaller lithographic plate to text vol. Atlas with two letterpress leaves (dedication and foreword) and letterpress table of contents pasted onto frontpastedown. (Occasional very light spotting.) Text vol. in original blue printed wrappers complete with unbroken paper band around textblock, portfolio in original linen backed blue printed paper covered boards (wrappers slightly chipped, extremities of atlas lightly rubbed).

A FINE COPY of plans, elevations and details of public buildings designed by Hübsch, author of the provocative essay In Welchem Style sollen wir Bauen?, 1828. VERY RARE. RIBA 1565 (parts 1-2, as here; a 3rd part was issued much later in 1853-9). (2)
