'AN AMBITIOUSLY CONCEIVED WORK' (RIBA I p.24, with note that 6 parts were issued). A full collation is uncertain. The BL calls for 3 parts; Worldcat notes 'various pagings' but calls for '[128] p. front., 23 pl. (incl. ports., plan)' matching the number of plates in the present work. RIBA 40 (St. Paul's Cathedral part only).

London: Longman, Hurst, Rees & Orme, 1807. 4° (313 x 229mm). 2 engraved titles and 110 engraved plates, numbered 1-38, [1], 1-38, 1-33. (Light spotting.) Contemporary calf, gilt border to covers, gilt spine with gilt lettering piece (extremities lightly rubbed, spine label crazed and worn). RIBA 1073 (despite calling for 111 plates, their collation is the same as the present work).

HERVEY, Thomas Kibble (1799-1859). Illustrations of modern Sculpture. London: Relfe and Unwin, 1832. Large 4° (363 x 260mm). Additional engraved title mounted as frontispiece, 18 mounted engraved plates. (Some light variable spotting.) Contemporary russia, panelled covers with wide gilt border composed of palmette and other tools, gilt spine, gilt turn-ins, marbled endpapers, gilt edges (spine lightly sunned). (3)
