The Tibetan woodblock print consists of circa three hundred drawings of various deities and mantras, being a later print of the woodblock commissioned in circa 1780 by Qianlong and composed by lCan.skya.hu.tu.ktu Lalitavajra; various Nepalese sketch books with drawings of divinities, mahasiddhas and the life of Buddha Sakyamuni; and a few pages with sketches
Provenance
Two Tibetan sets of woodblock prints were acquired by Brian Houghton Hodgson, when he resided in Kathmandu (1820-1831). The other copy is presently in the British Museum.
