The first in excavated condition, with iron hilt with slender arched quillons and ring-guard; the ballock daggers each with excavated blade and later hilt; the stiletto adapted from a small-sword and with chiselled iron hilt; the dirk excavated, with recurved quillons and fluted ivory grip; and the scabbard also excavated (acid-cleaned), with pierced embossed ornament
