With shortened 17th century German blade stamped by the bladesmith 'Willem Tesche Me Fecit' and 'Willem Tesche Soligen' (sic) within the fullers on both sides, gilt-brass pallasche hilt with outer-guard involving a relief trophy of classical arms within a pOunced domed oval, thumb-ring, 17th century gilt-bronze Moor's head pommel, and original wire-bound grip
