ROME 1741-43 -- [PRINTS]. A collection of seven engraved chinea prints by MIGUEL DE SORELLO after FRANÇOIS HUTIN, each approximately 390 x 446 mm platemark, margins. This series records the lavish festival that was held in Rome every year on the occasion of the presentation of a white horse (chinea) by the King of Spain, and later the King of the Two Sicilies, to the Pope in a mark of loyalty.
