First edition of this title, second use of these woodcuts. The small woodcuts figures are by Clement Boussy and were the first used in Fuch's De historia stirpium Lyon, 1549. The plants names are given in Greek, Latin, French, German, and Italian. The work is printed without text. Its small size and its "plate only" format made it possible to carry in the field for plant identification. Hunt 62; Meyer 98.
