Hand-modelled, cylindrical on compressed disc foot, applied with pinkish red and white crackled glaze, the red glaze on the interior applied as a series of descending spirals
3¼in. (8.2cm.) high; 4¾in. (12.1cm.) diameter
Wood boxes, one signed and sealed by the artist, authenticated by Raku Kichizaemon X (Tannyu; 1795-1854), and Sen Sosa XIII (Sokuchusai; 1901-1979)
