MING DYNASTY, 15TH-16TH CENTURY
The sides finely decorated in relief with a central band of pairs of peacocks standing in front of a garden rock between flowering peony, with incised details, the scenes separated by monster masks within ogival cartouches, with rows of bosses above and below, the domed top with a pierced lotus sprig in the center and four lotus leaves at the rim, all in purplish blue, turquoise, pale aubergine and cream
