An Augustus-Rex Meissen-type Helene Wolfsohn Dresden porcelain gilt polychrome two-handled bowl, cover and stand
Circa 1880, with gilt pseudo AR marks above underglaze blue hatched (Goldzerkratzte) crossed swords with dotted hilts above gilt 28 and further Pressmarken
(Wochenterrine), extensively decorated with oblong panels depicting merry peasant scenes after David Teniers surrounded by a Laub und Bandelwerk Goldspitzenbordüre, further with tiny Purpurmalerei landscape vignettes and with interlaced branch handle, the domed cover and the wavy stand en suite
The stand 23cm. diam., the circular bowl 21cm. diam.
