Of fluted melon form, chased with floral sprays, leaf-capped scalloped spout and domed, fluted cover capped by a flower finial, the acanthus leaf capped handle with ivory insulators, raised on four foliate bracket feet, the mark with Tusk tally mark, maker's mark LB&Co, fouled anchor, lion passant, gothic capital J, crown; together with a copy of Wynyard R. T. Wilkinson, Indian Colonial Silver, European Silversmiths in India (1790-1860) and Their Marks, London, 1973.
