woodcut, circa 1504-5, on laid paper, watermark Fleur-de-Lys in a Shield with Crown, a good impression from a later edition without text, possibly Meder g, the gaps in the upper borderline filled in with pen and ink, trimmed to the borderline, a tiny brown spot in the sky at upper right, another very pale and unobtrusive stain at the large bird at right, generally in very good condition
