Tobias and the Angel ('The large Tobias')(Bartsch, Hollstein 2)
engraving with etching, 1613, on laid paper, an exceptionally fine impression, without any wear in the densely worked areas, printing with guidelines in the text and many wiping marks in the blank areas outside the subject, trimmed on the platemark on three sides and to the image above, with a very skilfully made-up 7 mm. blank border above, two short un-inked hairlines at upper right, a dark stain at the lower right corner of the image, a few other, unobtrusive stains, a flattened horizontal fold across the upper image, another across the text border, backed with paper along the sheet edges, otherwise generally in good condition
